Affordable Travel Destination: Masasa Beach, Batangas Travel Getaway + Budget

Hello mommies,

How are you?

If you are looking for a quick weekend getaway with your family and friends without actually breaking the bank then here is the answer to your itchy feet .

As we all know Batangas is just 2-4hours drive from the metro depending on which route you will take, or if you will take the bus then the travel time is just the same especially if you take the CALABARZON Route.  There is no stop except for loading passengers so traveling is as easy as pie.  We chose this place because its very affordable, also its  the nearest beach from Metro Manila if I am not mistaken and almost all travel bloggers rave about it so we are extremely excited to go there.

So now let me share our family weekend getaway at Masasa Beach, Tingloy Batangas last January 13-14, 2018.  Me, my mom, Luna our 6 year old daughter and bebeloves went to Batangas by commute. We took ALPS Bus line directly to Batangas Grand Terminal, (you can also take Jam or Gold Bus line) from Batangas GT we took a jeepney going to Anilao, from Anilao we took the boat to Tingloy.  Actually there is another boat going directly to Masasa Beach but the boats at Anilao port are  super confusing and there are no customer service nor a ticketing agents or coastguards that we can ask on how to get there plus there is a lot of crowd because its a weekend.  People, especially new comers like us are confused.  So basically, we just go with the flow.  There are a lot of passengers and the line is quite long so you need to be patient.  Due to the bulk of guests, it took us 2 hours to pay for the environmental fee. By the way my 6 year old daughter is not free of charge.

Thankfully the sun is cooperating and the clouds gave us lots of shades.  After a long wait in a corner we finally board our boat.  There is no first come first serve basis here, so you have to be snappy to get a seat at least.  From Tingloy port there is a lot of tricycle that will take you to your homestay.

Wengtotz Travel: Merry Christmas at Meralco's Liwanag Park- Free Entrance

Hello luvies,

First of all I want to greet everybody a very Merry Merry Christmas.  Today, me and my family visited the most coveted Meralco Inc. Liwanag Park.  It is our first time to visit the place and they really have a nice decoration.  There is a wide array of display and you can take snaps almost everywhere especially to those who love to have a selfie and post it on their instagram account.  The place is well lit and there are a lot of restroom and securities on the ground that helps around with people.  Aside from that the entrance at Meralco's Liwanag Park are free, so everybody can enjoy the lights and the display.  Aside from that you can also ride the train its also free but you have to fall in line.  Here is a few pictures that I got.

What: Meralco Inc. Liwanag Park
Where: Meralco Avenue Ortigas Pasig City
Time: 4pm to 10PM
Entrance: Free

By the way luvies, be sure to bring your food and water, because the food choice is quite limited.  Also, for the frugal like me, water and all kinds of drinks are expensive.  To those who doesn't have a car like us commute going home is kind of a struggle so a little patience is a must have.

What about you? Where have you been this holidays?? Care to share?  Maybe tomorrow we will check out Ayala Triangle.  People say its also beautiful there.

What is Coins.Ph? How to earn in Coins.ph?

Hello luvies,

I just downloaded an application named Coins.ph.  I've made some research about this and I am still reading on how to earn through Coins.ph.  I am one of the few who is also interested in earning extra.  I've heard that people can earn when they pay their bills and also buy some load.  Aside  from that you can also exchange your money using bitcoin.  I am not sure how that works.  I've watched some video in youtube some of it are too good to be true.  I hope people will share their insights and knowledge on these.  Because before you earn you will also shell out some hard earned cash.  And I am not the type of person who will invest in something I am not sure of.  I am now into address verification phase.  And I am planning to pay my bills using this application.  For every unique bill you pay you will get Php5.00.  In our household there are 4 bills so in a month I'll be earning Php20.00 And maybe my mom will also let me pay their bills so its an additional Php20.00  Not bad.  I am paying at the comforts of our home.  Plus, if I refer someone I'll get an additional Php50.00 each.

I just don't know how to invest my money using bitcoin.  I am noob and I am figuring out how.

What about you? Please share..  Let's earn together.

Home is the nicest word there is.

Product review: Promil four 3+

Hello luvies,

Yesterday, I went to puregold to buy milk for my preschool daughter and I was so delighted because Promil four 3+ 1.8kg that is worth Php1200++ has a feee 400g pack of milk.  That's a huge savings for me.  So I immediately got 1 box.

By the way the 2.2kg comes with a crayola set.  Hurry up whike supplies last.

Product Review: RCBC Bankard Rewards

Hello luvies,

I've been a RCBC Bankard user for more than a year now and I am fully satisfied with their services.  I've had other credit cards in the past and I had them cut off because I had bad experiences with them.  Now, I am sticking to RCBC Bankard because their point system is easy to earn, for every 800 points is equivalent to Php200.  A very plus for me.

I am not encouraging everyone to get a credit card.  Having one takes a great discipline or you'll end up in debt.  We don't want that because their interest are quite high.  So my tip is  use it only for emergency or use it within your means.  Let's say you have a cash budget of Php5000.00 for grocery, save it use your card so you will earn points and when the due date comes you pay your bills on time.  Easy peezy.  You can also use your card to pay the bills they have this automatic deduction each month, all you need is to call their customer service.  Aside from that they are offering 0%interest for 3 months for a fee though but its just minimal unlike paying your bills with high interest.

Now, I can say that I've earned 2000points which gave me Php500 rebate,  👍👍👍  Another great saving for me.

Aside from that RCBC always send an alert whenever I am using my card,  as a client that gives me a sense of peace of mind.

What about you luvies? Any experience to share?

How to prevent asthma attacks on children?

Hello luvies,

When I woke up this morning I was sad because I can hear my daughters wheezes.  She can hardly breath.  She is having asthma attack again.  I was actually observing her from last night.  As you all know yesterday we went happily to divimart.  The place is not that crowded and it has aircon so I did not let her wear mask.  I should have followed what bebeluvs told me to make Luna wear mask.  Aside from that she is not that tired because she slept in the trolley half of the time I was shopping.  When we got home she requested to play with her playmates outside then after that she came home.  Later that evening I felt something is wrong with her she is having this throat irritation which I made her drink lots of fluids.  After dinner she played with her new toys and she told me she will sleep because she is tired.  Then the next day boom she's having asthma attack.  I immediately nebulize her to give her relief,  to my dismay our almost 6 year old nebulizer retired already.  We bought it when she was just months old and now it shows sign of retirement.  There is hardly no mist coming out of the machine.  Oh well.

I immediately rush to the nearest drugstore.  Southstar drug to find a very affordable nebulizer because its not in our budget.  Aside from that we don't know anyone who owns a nebulizer so we don't have a choice but to buy one.  To my delight the lady who assisted me offered Dr. Care nebulizer it cost around Php1300.00 with adult and child nebulization kit, a few filters and a fuse. It has a 7day replacement warranty and 1 year repair.  Due to our urgent need I purchased it immediately.   Hoping that it will relieve my baby from having difficulty breathing.

I also purchased combivent and anti-histamine to help her on her ordeal.  She is also taking Plemex.

I hope she will feel better.  I don't want her sick.

What about you luvies?  How do you prevent asthma attacks on your child?
