HAUL: First time at Shopee

Hello luvies,

I just wanna share  my Shopee Haul and my experience in buying at their website.  There are a lot of affordable goodies at the site and a lot of seller too.  That's why I am frequently checking their website for a sale or good deals.  They offer free delivery when you reached P500 peso value.  The technique is buy only from 1 seller so they will not charge you for shipping.  P500 value - 1 seller only.  But they will charge half of the shipping fee when you reached P250.  Most items are Cash on Delivery so that is a big plus for me.  I preferred COD most of the time because I feel secure.  Some sellers are bogus and I don't wanna be robbed.. lol.  Some sellers offer money back guarantee.  So don't fret.  The website also has a chatbox which you can interact with the sellers and other you can also rate them and give feedback to them.  SO other people will know their rank.

Here are the things that I bought.
These is the package.

Korean bag - P150.00

Anti Rape Whistle - P100.00 each.  I bought 2 for me and mom.  It really activates a loud siren I am telling you.  SO it really draws attention in times of need.  It is a battery operated and has a conventional whistle too.  Just in case the battery runs out.

a hanger organizer - P50.00 for my daughter so she will learn to organize her little stuff.

Dress - P280.00.  Hubbyluvs told me I looked like a chocolate siopao when I try this on.  I really need to loose weight.. arhgh

Will I shop again? - Definitely.  You should try it also.  It took them 3 days to process my order
and as what I've said to save on the shipping fee I bought all these items to 1 seller only.  Aside from that I earned shoppe coins.

Do you also shop at shopee? Share your experience.

How to prevent asthma to 5 year old?

Hello luvies,

I am so sad this past few days because my daughter is having a bouts of asthma attack again.  Plus she had a fever at 39.5 degree Celsius.  I am in panic mode to give her tepid sponge bath and I kept on putting wet towel on her forehead.  I already gave her paracetamol oral.  She has no appetite.  She just want to drink water.  I am making sure that somehow she is well hydrated at the same time I am feeding her small frequent meal so her acid reflux will not come back.. She is also having her nebulization of salbutamol nebules every 6 hours.  That is the only thing that give her comfort and gave her a good night sleep for a few minutes.

She is so sensitive and she is not in the mood for anything except watching mickey mouse clubhouse for 30minutes then she will go back to sleep.

I hope you'll get better my dear..  I'll promise I will enroll you to swimming school this summer.

Does your daughter/son has asthma too?  What is your home remedy for asthma attack?

How To Save your hard earned money? Pesosense Formula

Hello luvies,

As I was browsing through my phone I came across a screenshot that I got from Pesosense.  It's a formula that will help us budget our monthly income and how to save money and alot some for other things that may incur in the future.

Here is the formula:
Income - 20% =  Amount to be spent.

List of Items that needed budget:
Emergency fund
Savings
Housebills
Credit Card
Food
Allowance - Hubbs, Mine and child
College Fund
Medical/Dental
Retirement
Recreation
Personal
Vacation
School Tuition Fee + Service
ETC.

My thoughts: For me it's not that realistic because we have a lot of expenses.  And the expenses is sometimes more than r income that's why I always have a negative balance.  But I realize, I have to save not just for the rainy days but for our retirement.  We are not getting any younger and I have to start in anyway I can.  Even a single centavo count.  And through this we won't have to think too much about the future.  I also needed some part time job or sideline to somehow add up to our income.

I'll try to start today.  I will give you an update in a months time.  I will cross fingers.  I hope I have something left for the piggy bank.

What about you??  What kind of formula do you have to save?

Trick or Treat 2017: Mission Hospital Pasig City

Hello luvies,

Today me and my daughter joined the Annual Trick or Treat program at Mission Hospital Pasig.  Her costume is rainbow dash.  The little pony.   It is her much awaited event.  Every year she never fails to attend the said event.  She is really excited and she always tell me what costume to buy.

She really had fun.  She got a lot of candies and gain friends too..  At first she got scared but later on she realized it was just costume.

She joined the games and blend in with other kids.  She went almost everywhere to get her treats even if its scary.

Everybody made a lot of effort in putting up the event for the kids.  It's not easy as a mom.  Nakakapagod din maglakad.haha.

Cost of the gown - P600
Where did I buy it - SM Megamall
Pumpkin Cost - P50
Facepaint - free
These are the recycled decors.  I just took a few.  The Operating room decor.

Work Abroad: Genesis Hospital Pohnpei, Micronesia

hello Luvies,

To work or not to work abroad that is the question I am facing right now.  Amidst facing the challenge of low salary, traffic and workload I am entertaining the thought that I might work abroad and grab the opportunity.  Hence, I don't want to be confined in the dessert (middle east) for 2 years or more due to the very strict culture like Saudi Arabia.  I am often lurking to WORKABROAD to look for an opportunity.  And I came across Nurse in Micronesia which is offered by Romar Agency in Quezon City,  I immediately submit an application,  few days after I received an sms from them inviting me to visit their office.  I am tempted to try but I am also torn since their salary offer is lesser than in the middle east.

Where is Micronesia? - It's near Palau, Saipan and Guam. and maybe Hawaii..

What I am thinking? -is it worth it?  Can I save and send money here in the Philippines?  Would it be enough for me and my family.  Also It is an open country and the tax is not free..  Oh boy..

Perks - The hospital as what I've google  is not that big.  It is just like any other ordinary hospital here in Manila.  Maybe just like the place I am working.  But the location is superb.  The weather is mostly rainy. (Parang pinas lang.)  And as what I've discovered it is also a tropical paradise with a lots of suns and beautiful beaches.  And the place is so laid back,  Though there are amenities and facilities but not as modern.  And the best part is there is a Filipino store and Filipino Community as well.  So boredom is out of the picture.
