Get 500 peso off on your groceries at Honest Bee

Hello Mommies,

I would like to share my blessing that I got today from Honest Bee.   As you all know I am a frequent Bee shopper because I don't have the luxury of time to go to the supermarket.  Not that I am a very busy person but I prefer to stay at home and do something else while waiting for my items to arrive.  I hate lining up in the grocery especially if there is a long que and aside from that I tend to buy the things that I don't need like items on sale.  That is why I am skipping grocery shopping for a while now. hehehe.  Well, it's just me.

What makes me fall in love with Honest Bee?  It is as easy as 1, 2, 3.  There are a lot  of shops to choose from.  You can also check their food and beverage sections: from fresh produce, to frozen, organic or even restaurants.  You can even get a free delivery if you met their amount requirement.  You have to keep in mind that some shop especially where I shop at the Robinson supermarket they have a concierge fee of P99, which I don't mind because I know to myself that when I go to the grocery personally I will not stick on the budget, and I might pay more.  LOL.

Every now and then Honest Bee is offering tons of promos.  You just have to keep an eye on them or check them out once in a while.  Like today Honest Bee is giving P500 off from your P3000 or P1000 off from your P5000 worth of groceries.
Imagine that guys??? It is indeed a HUGE SAVINGS.  Especially to all moms out there who are struggling with their budget

Lucky for me I did my grocery today because our kitchen and refrigerator are so bare now.  I opt for the P3000 only because I  don't have much money and I only have that budget in mind just in case the promo code is not working.  Again I used the TNXBEE2U500 promo code and they less P500 from my P3100 bill.   I only paid P2600.

Before I forget I also used my shopback app so I can earn REBATES from my groceries.  So Double whammy..

For those of you who are interested to get SHOPBACK APP and for HONESTBEE APP you may download by clicking the link. Do not worry it is completely safe and hassle free plus no hidden charges.

Hurray for today.

How to earn Online?

Long ago, when I was quite young and inquisitive about things I discovered about How to EARN Online? I was very, very intrigued with the idea of it that's why led me to putting up a blog.  In fact I've got a few blogs which up to  today is not maintained.  I loose my interest in writing and the cliche and competitors are a lot.  The internet is so vast and if you are in a hurry in earning you might just gave up because it is not that easy.  The key in earning online is traffic and in order to get an audience you need to post  a quality topic that interest people like make-up, gossip, hobby, travels, showbiz and porn and the like.

To those of you who are ambitious about this, please if you are just starting don't do this full time. You might end up frustrated because no one visits your blog or in tagalog "nilalangaw."  Making a blog work as a earning tool entails effort. And I mean lots of it.  You need to put your heart and soul to it to make it work.  Of course do not forget to study.  There are a lot of online tutorial on how to's and that is just a start.

Let me get it straight, this is how to earn online.
  1. Blogging
  2. Youtuber - the very high paid industry I think
  3. Virtual Assistant
  4. Multi-Media Posting
There are a lot of things that you can do online and if you learn the trick of the trade then everything will go smoothly.

What about you? can you share some tips?

How to authenticate Certificate of Employment at DFA

Hello mga Inay.

When my certificate of employment was released by our Human Resource last week, I was so happy that I immediately rushed to The Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) in Alimall, Cubao.  I headed to 3rd floor and get a form from the guard.  Filled it up giddily and fall in line.  Suddenly, the Lady in Window 5 caught my attention as she was checking my papers and guess what?? It was incomplete.  I was appalled because it is past 3pm already and all major government offices will be closed at 5pm.  So I hurriedly went to Pasig City to have it notarized.  Luckily, I got to the office at 4pm and my mother's friend who is a clerk assisted me.  But, I have to go to CANA Office of the Regional Trial Court in Pasig City the next day to get an affidavit.

You may asked me what went wrong? Or what requirements are lacking?

Well, well guys.  Before you proceed to DFA for authentication make sure you bring the following documents:

✅Original Certificate of Employment ( for checking purposes)
✅Notarized photocopy of your COE
✅ An affidavit from CANA with Gold seal.
✅Payment of 100php for regular or 200php for expedite(rush) 1 day processing.  I opted the latter because I need that authenticated document ASAP because I will submit it to the Agency for authentication stamp at Kuwait Embassy.

As soon as I got all the required requirements I proceed again for the nth time to DFA
Alimall.

I went to window 5 for processing paid Php200 then return the next day.
I claimed my newly authenticated or known as red ribboned COE at window 6.  It is just smooth processing with not much crowd.  Unlike getting a passport.  Well, that is a different story.

What about you? Care to share your experience when you process your documents.

How I opened my BDO Kabayan Savings

Most of you know that I will be venturing to be an OFW soon.  Opening a savings account is a must because this is where I will place my remittance.  I've decided to open a  BDO Kabayan Savings because  it was near our place and I was enticed with the idea that there is no maintaining balance compared to their regular savings account.

BDO Kabayan comes with a yellow passbook and an ATM which you can enroll for online banking.

The requirements are the following:
  • 2 Government issued ID
  • Contract copy
  • PDOS copy
  • Passport
Remarks:  As much as possible they want to see the original ones especially the contracts and passport,  but I told them that all was at the agency already.  I just got it photocopied because I will open a bank account with them.  They are kind of strict especially with the requirements because after all there is no maintaining balance.

The clerk at the bank told me that I need at least 1 transaction per year for this account to remain a KABAYAN SAVINGS or else it will be converted into a regular savings account which have a maintaining balance of Php10,000 and aside from that if I can't maintain the account they will charge Php300 for dormancy.. hefty right?

By the way there is a Php100.00 amount value for opening the account. and It will take a week to get the ATM.  So, I will be back on Tuesday.   According the their website, it's perks is Free Life and Accident Insurance and you can get rewards from it as well.

Regarding their Free Life and Accident Insurance - you have to meet their requirements and enroll it here.

What about you?  What is your bank of choice?

How to go to DFA Asiana (MOA0 from Pasig

Hello mga Inay.

I was about to claim my authenticated High School documents from the province to the main branch of Department of Foreign Affairs Asiana Branch.  It would be very much conveneint if it were just DFA Alimall. Unfortunately it was in their main branch.  And guess what? I really don't know how to go there.  Yeah, I've been staying and living in Manila for quite some time now and let me tell you I still do not know certain places, especially that I am a work place-home person only.  That is my life and my world has been that way.  Funny isn't it.  Thankfully google invented its MAP and I find it handy.  That is why I utilize it.
So, I live in Pasig City.  Basically I typed, "How to go to DFA Asiana from Pasig?"  Too shallow right?  But heck, I have to go there by myself and I have to find the easiest route because I hate getting stuck in traffic.  And I do not own a car so commuting is not a breeze.

This is how I manage to go there:
From Pasig Palengke I took the jeepney 🚙 with Starmall/MRT signboard. Then I was contemplating if I will take the bus 🚌 or  🚊 MRT.  I opt for the MRT because of the shortest travel time.  The MRT is southbound ok?  I alighted at TAFT station.  And when I got down the station LUCKY ME there was a white jeepney that is going to DFA ASIANA.  I was so happy.
The jeepney looks like this.  And there you can see the DFA Asiana. YEY.

Jeepney bound to SM MOA and DFA ASIANA

I entered Gate 1 that is the entrance for claiming documents I guess.  And you know what?? The building is so huge and there are a lot of counters, yet it was so full.  It was air conditioned and systematic.  There are a lot of people who are doing their business inside.  Maybe some of them are getting passports and other travel documents.  Whereas for me I am claiming my high school CAV from the province directly to DFA Asiana. Finally, My high school credential has its red ribbon with gold seal on it.

Red Ribboned High School Credential ✅

Now, it's time to go home.

From DFA Asiana I decided to got to Baclaran Church first and pay a visit to Ina ng Laging Saklolo.  I am praying for guidance and wisdom.  So i took the yellow jeepney.  I asked the driver if he will go to Baclaran Church itself before anything else.

From Baclaran I took the Bus going to Crossing Ibabaw. From Crossing I took the jeep going to Pasig.  The after a whole day of travelling I finally reach home with a happy heart and a swollen feet.

Pediatric Ophthalmologist in Pasig

Last July, when my daughter has a bouts of asthma attack we took her to her pediatrician which is located nearby. And she immediately noticed my girls eye.  She said " I think you should have her eyes check."  The lazy eye on her left was quite noticeable already. Her pediatrician insisted that I should look for Pediatric Ophthalmologist and not just any Ophthalmologist because she said they are the ones who are experts in handling children's cases.  I told myself that I have to save money because going to a certain specialist is costly and we don't have a health card.  That is why I need to save for her eye needs.

Since, I don't have the budget yet I often asked Mr. Google to look for a Pediatric Ophthalmologist nearby.

These are my options:

The American Eye Center in Shangrila-Edsa
Dra. Joanne Bolinao and Dr James Abraham Lee
Telephone # 6360762
Their consultation fee is around Php1200.00

Provision Eye Care - Silver City Pasig
Dra. Varela
Telephone #  661 4608
Their consultation fee is around Php700-900

I opt for Provision Eye Care  Network because it is near our place.
The clinic is clean, the staff are friendly and  Dra. Varela is such a wonderful Doctor.  She gave my daughter a thorough eye exam using their equipment. Before she gave her diagnosis and plan of care.  I was shocked to find out that my daughter's vision is now 200 each eye.  It is not just a simple lazy eye case anymore.  According to her, when she covers the left eye the right eye responded and became lazy as well.  The eye patch thing is not applicable to her at this point.  She has poor eye muscles and she needs to wear glasses up to 3 months then she will have a follow up by then her eyes will be evaluated again.  Hopefully, her vision will be corrected soon and there is still a big chance that she can wean the glasses off.

I am hoping for that..

Our total expenses is about Php2700 inclusive of everything.
Her glasses suit her very well.  When I tried it it looks like I am looking through a magnifying glass. LOL.

What about you?  Do your kids need to wear glasses to?

let's share thoughts IG - @wengthoughts
