How to grow your income?

I wish money grow on trees.

Hello mga Inays.  Since the year started I kept on thinking and asking myself on how to grow my income.  It is so hard because I am depending on an employment income.  Being employed here in the Philippines receives only the minimum for most people.  As a nurse I can say that my income is not decent enough that is why I am lucky that babyloves is working in a different industry which helps us survive the inflation rate.

Expenses due to bills and school fees get the huge chunk of our combined salary.  We hardly have enough money for savings and emergency.  At this stage it is very imperative to have both.

These are the things that help me meet both ends for the meantime.

Saving is a must talaga mga inay.

Just small steps at a time.

INVESTMENT| ATRAM Peso Money Market Fund via GCash

Image result for atram fund

Hello mga Inay.

Recently GCash launched their brand new investment program which is the ATRAM Peso Money Market Fund.  As a GCash user I was very happy because they opened their doors to this kind of investment.  I mean there are no FA who will bother you and insist on the products or the insurance that you want to avail.  They will give you a questionnaire on what type of risk appetite do you have and by reading their terms and you agreed on that you can start investing.  At napaka convenient neto mga Inay as little as Php50  pwede ka ng mag invest click click lang sa GCash app mo as long as my pera ka sa GCash.

GCash ATRAM will send you an email regarding some information, rules and other things that you have to know.  Availing such services doesn't guarantee that you will get rich quick by this kind of method.  Of course

Invest at your own risk.

The Art of Budgeting

Hello mga Inay.

How's your budgeting skills?? For me I am poor at it. Or should I say wala lang talaga akong budget sa mga bagay bagay.

I am proposing that this subject should be taught in school especially on our growing up years.  Because this will be very beneficial on how are we going to set aside our income to attain our financial independence later on in our life.  Do you agree??

When I was growing up I was told to study hard, find a job and work hard.  But up until today I am working hard and nothing is happening.  I can't afford mortgages that is why I am not getting any.  I can't afford travels.  I don't even have luxury.  As I am always practical. Tiis tiis ika nga.

Money is hard to earn but easily spent.  Budgeting for me is very tedious.  Especially that we have limited income.  People suggest that I should increase my cash flow.  Our salary increase this year mind you.  But still there are a lot of expenses and I don't know how to manage them.  Every end of the month the bills just kept on piling.

There are a lot of peso saving tips online.  But due to limited resources I just stick to what I can afford.  I have a coin bank where our loose coins go immediately and our bill bank where I put extra bill on hand.

The idea is of course ideal if you can save so much then at the end of the year you will get a hefty amount.  As of the moment we are practicing the discipline of it.  I am but wishing that our expenditures will be lower than last month in order for us to cope with our income.

I am just curious how people manage to save so much when they have little income. The price of their fish is no different from ours.  geez.

My sentiments exactly.

Here are our monthly expenses:

Groceries - Php4500.00
Palengke - Php 4000.00
Allowance - Php 2000.00
Tuition - Php 2000.00
Electricity - Php 3500.00
Internet - Php2000.00
Water - Php 300
Loan - Php1900.00

Planning my daughters Kiddie Party on a budget

Hello luvies.

In a days time my daughter will turn 7 years old.  As a mom, I wanted to give her the most unforgettable birthday experience that she will treasure for the rest of her life and surely not break the bank.  Not that we have a bank to break in the first place. LOL.

I've been thinking a lot of party ideas, location, food and suppliers that is just on the budget.  As I do these I've been spending quite a lot of time researching.  As I do these it caused me stress and disappointment.  Because in order for her birthday to be executed the way I wanted entails a hefty amount of money.  And that is something we do not have. MONEY.

I realized that there are a lot of mommies who are in the same boat as I am.  Birthday parties need not be grand.  All we need is good food and entertainment.

I am estimating 40-50 guests kids and adults.

I computed the budget if we do it DIY style.

Location - sa tapat ng bahay. Pag nag rent naman kami mga P2000-P3000
Food - Lutong ni Inay Menu: Spaghetti, Chicken, mini-cakes, juice. P???
Tables and chairs rental - P1200
Baloons - P1000
Entertainment: Naku eto ang madugo P3000 just for clowns PF
Souvenirs/Prizes -P5000

LOL.

So think.. think pa ang drama..

Almost all fastfood in the Philippines got it covered.

I am thinking of

1. Jolibee
2. Shakeys
3.Calle Preciosa

They are offering birthday packages that are pretty reasonable.  I might be leading through these Fastfood.
